Kelly Tomasich

Kelly Tomasich is a Senior Laywer at Creative Lawyers, with vast experience acting for clients in the media, technology and entertainment industries. She has represented commercial and corporate clients with a focus on intellectual property, privacy and operational matters. Kelly also has significant litigation and dispute resolution experience.

She regularly advises creators on the commercialisation of their intangible assets, and helps clients to manage and protect their reputations and brands. Kelly is experienced in copyright law and the protection of registrable forms of IP, including trade marks, and on domain name arbitrations.

Kelly's pragmatic approach stems from her 15 years of working on various productions behind the camera and co-founding production company, Neon Jane. Her approach and experience is an asset to the firm and the clients she assists. Kelly also co-founded The Australian Women's Film Festival (AWFF), a film festival created by women, for women - established to demonstrate the talent of female filmmakers.

Kelly has co-lectured at the Australian Institute of Music, presented on a variety of IP and commercial topics and dedicated her time as a pro bono lawyer in support of the creative industries.

If you can't already tell, Kelly particularly loves the film, TV and content production industries and her experience as both a lawyer and a producer has culminated in the perfect position to advise clients in the creative industries.
